Two old ladies behind me – “It was my father-in-laws birthday two weeks ago, I didn’t know what to get a 94 year old man in a home so I ended up getting him some long pyjamas. I took his present up to him on his birthday and I hadn’t had time to sew his name in them. So I took them back home with me. Well anyway I sewed the label at the weekend and he died on the Tuesday”.
“Oh never, what are you going to do with the pyjamas?” asked old lady 2. “I’m going to take them back to the shop and swap them for a Christmas present for someone” old lady 1 answered.
